Anyways here are the products that I recommend for a reasonably simple yet effective step towards clear skin.
- Bioderma sensibio - despite the fact that it is difficult to get hold of (I buy mine on eBay) this French product is a little gem in a bottle..... For those of you who haven't heard of this product it is a cleansing water designed to remove the most stubborn of make-up (even those pesky water-proof mascaras). Just sweep this across your face to remove all make-up..... A much better option to make-up wipes (the little devils!) and just as quick!
- Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser- if your like me and you feel that your face is not clean until its been washed with water then Cetaphil is the option for you. It's cheap and easy to find (available in most pharmacies). Cetaphil is a mild soap alternative. Used with a muslin cloth it makes your skin squeaky clean!
- Muslin cloth- although technically not a product muslin cloths are amazing! They gently exfoliate your skin as you are cleansing it. Perfect for daily use.
- Dermalogica daily microfoliant- so this is more pricier however it last forever. As my skin is quite dry I only use this once a week or when my skin is having a few breakouts. It contains salycylic acid which is fantastic for clearing any of those blemishes or spots quickly.
- Neutrogena ultra sheer dry touch sunscreen factor 85 - so for me sunscreen is a must all year round (and I live in a country with absolutely no sun!). UVA rays are those nasty ones that age you and they are always around. This sunscreen is great as its cost effective and doesn't leave your skin greasy after applying. The downside is it is only available in the States but if can be bought online.
- Body shop Vitamin E moisture cream - I have tried many moisturisers of all price ranges but I always come back to this. It's perfect for all skin types and is only €11 which is always a nice perk!
- Kiehl's Creamy eye treatment - so eye cream is a new product in my routine but as I'm not getting any younger I decided to try a few. This Kiehl's eye cream is a lovely rich creamy product which is something I like in an eye cream. Personally I prefer creamy products to gel eye creams.
